WEST COURSE – Welsh Timber in Building Construction: Myths & Facts

WEST will be running the first of their fully funded LCBE courses starting 7th April.

Welsh Timber in Building Construction: Myths and Facts will provide evidence based case studies that present local timber as a viable option for a broad range of construction uses.

It aims to challenge commonly held misconceptions and change practitioners’ perceptions about Welsh Timber as a construction material. The content will include current systems and products, the availability and applications of Welsh timber, and why the construction industry should consider Welsh timber as a building material.

This course is available to anyone working or living in a Welsh Convergence area.

This course will be delivered with a blended approach of face to face and online teaching. It has been designed with flexibility in mind to enable the integration of study around a busy schedule. Face to face half-day sessions will be available in Cardiff, Swansea, Aberystwyth and Llandudno.
