Collaborating for a Low Carbon Wales

The first LCRI conference “Collaborating for a Low Carbon Wales” took place successfully at the end of November.  Covering the areas of Zero Carbon Built Environments, Photovoltaics, Large Scale Power Generation, Marine, Hydrogen and Bioenergy, the event attracted attendees from industry, policy and academia.  Brisk discussions took place at the end of each of the sessions and during the evening forum.

137 people registered to attend the conference with 47 registrants from industry and good representation from local and Welsh government.  A small exhibition space included a solar powered car brought to the event by the School of Science and Technology from Glyndŵr University.
