Phil is Director of the Cardiff School of Engineering, and Director of the Gas Turbine Research Centre (GTRC). He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), has a PhD in Numerical Modelling of Complex Fluids, University of Wales, and a BSc – Pure & Applied Maths (First Class Joint Honours, awarded both departmental prizes), from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

Yura Sevcenco

Project Engineer

Project Engineer at Gas Turbine Research Centre, previously worked as a Research Engineer for the GTRC, and a Research and Development RF Engineer at CSA Wireless. Yura has a BSc (Hons) in Physics and Astronomy, an MSc in Microwave Communications Engineering, an MSc in Astronautics and Space Engineering, and a PhD in Aerospace.
